History

The Clinique podiatrique de l’Outaouais (CPO), originally located on Notre-Dame Street in Gatineau, was created in 1969 by Dr. Albert Cormier, podiatrist. He was quickly able to grow the number of patients thanks to the quality of care and attention to patient satisfaction. His daughter Lynda joined him in 1986 and has managed the company since 1996, which kept its family environment.

In 1996, the clinic moved into a larger and more modern site at the corner of Boulevard la Vérendrye and Boulevard de l’Hôpital in Gatineau. These facilities, with state-of-the-art equipment, were enlarged and renovated in 2008 to better meet the growing demand for their services. Following the arrival of two new podiatrists within the team, Dr. Annie Jean and Dr. Gabrielle Castonguay, the CPO gained momentum and opened a new branch in Hull in October 2011.

In 2017, Dr. Diane Bouguem joined the CPO team.

Today, a great team consisting of four podiatrists, a nurse, technicians, assistants and receptionists is working to meet the needs of patients from all areas of the Outaouais region.
