Dr. Olive Nishimwe, Podiatrist

Dr. Olive Nishimwe, podiatrist, holds a degree in podiatric medicine from the University of Trois-Rivières (UQTR). During her university training, she completed internships in wound care at the Lanaudière Regional Hospital in Joliette and at the Regional University Affiliated Hospital in Trois-Rivières (CHAUR). She has also completed internships in several prestigious practices in podiatric surgery and in private practices in podiatry. These numerous internships have allowed her to hone her knowledge in the fields of bone surgery, medical imaging, biomechanics, podopediatrics and diabetic wounds to name a few. 

With the physical health of patients at heart, Dr. Nishimwe, podiatrist, also holds a bachelor's degree with magna cum laude  in physical activity science from the University of Ottawa, which she completed in 2016. A fan of the skipping rope, she encourages her patients to take control of their physical health one jump at a time! 

She is proud to choose the Outaouais region as her home for her practice and is pleased to join the team at the Clinique podiatrique de l’Outaouais, which has been offering its services in the city of Gatineau for more than 50 years.
